[Commande] Instituciones del Reino de Valencia

Hello!

I'm Nicolás Borja, President of the Cortes de Valencia (our Parliament). Previously I made another request in the workshop for me, and now, looking your wonderful work, recommended for many Kingdoms, I come here looking for help, advice and knowledge.

I will tell you what is it about: the institutions of my Kingdom, Valencia, lacks of blasons, shields and heraldry, even seals in many cases. There neither exists ornaments for the importan charges of the Kingdom: Chanciller (diplomacy), Senescal (army chief), Justicia Mayor (Tribunal of Apelations' chief and maximum judicial authority), Royal Councilor, Gobernor (Duke or Comte in the other countries), etc...

Valencia, historically, had lots of national and heraldic symbols. However, they looks bad-drawn, or they cannot be used on documents. For that reason, we ask for your help to adapt them properly, as realistic as possible. About the crowns, we currently use the most common ones.

...and right now, we haven't Heralds, but we want to reform our Heraldry, and there are many valentians who want to learn the occupation. We are looking for change, renovation, we want to learn of you. I hope you want to teach us!

Summing up...there are the institutions that needs coats of arms:

Las Cortes: It's the Kingdom's Parliament. (RL) Monarchy in Valentia and Aragón was weaker than monarchies in other countries. The laws must be aproved by las Cortes.

Las Cortes were formed for 3 estate, nobility, clergy, and the cities. For that reasons, the coats of arms of las Cortes, were formed by 3 shields:

-Saint George represents the nobility and the militar tradition of chivalry.
-La Virgen María represent the clergy.
-The four red bars of Aragón in a rhomb, that had an guardian angel behind, represented the cities of Valencia.

La Generalitat: The council, RL it manage the commerce, economy, taxes, low laws, and that kind of issues.

This is their most representative symbol, representative of the whole valencia too:

And there are about 3 or 4 institutions more, but I won't post it together, it would be too much ^^

Soy Nicolás Borgia, Presidente de las Cortes de Valencia (el Parlamento dónde se aprueba la legislación). Creo que anteriormente realicé algún encargo en el taller. Y ahora, viendo vuestro excelente trabajo, recomendado por varios Reinos, acudo a vuestro taller heráldico en busca de ayuda, consejo, y conocimiento.

Os planteo la cuestión: las Instituciones de Valencia carecen de todo tipo de blasonamiento, incluso de sellos en algunos casos. Tampoco existen ornamentos para los cargos de relevancia en el Reino: Chanciller, Senescal (jefe del ejército), Justicia Mayor (juez del tribunal de apelaciones e intérprete máximo de la legislación), Consejero Real, Gobernador (el equivalente a Duque/Conde, jefe del Consejo), etc...

Valencia, históricamente, es rica en símbolos nacionales heráldicos y no tanto. Sin embargo, en su mayoría están mal dibujados o son difíciles de aplicar en documentos. Por eso pedimos su ayuda para la recopilación y adaptación de los mismos lo más realista e históricamente posible. En cuanto a las coronas nobiliarias, se utilizan las clásicas más comunes en Francia.

...Y actualmente no tenemos tampoco heraldos, pero pensamos reformar nuestros Estatutos, y hay varios valencianos dispuestos a aprender el oficio. Buscamos el cambio, la renovación, deseamos aprender de vosotros.¡Espero nos entendáis!.

Enumeraré las Instituciones de las que requerimos blasones, y los datos de cada una:

Las Cortes: Es el Parlamento del Reino. (IRL) La monarquía siempre fue limitada en Valencia y las leyes la aprobaban las Cortes.

Estas, estaban compuestas por tres estamentos, la nobleza, el clero, y las ciudades. Por eso, el blasón de las Cortes, estaba compuesto por tres escudos:

-San Jorge representando a la nobleza y la caballería.
-La Virgen María representando al clero.
-Las cuatro barras de Aragón en un rombo, que tenían detrás un ángel custodio, representaban a las ciudades.

La Generalitat (el Consejo del Gobernador): Es el órgano de administración del Reino. Las minas, el comercio, la justicia ordinaria, lo típico de cualquier Consejo. IRL existía como institución, denominada Generalitat. Este es un escudo característico, aunque no solo de la Generalitat, sino que también del Reino.

However, I have a question about the mantles/robes. Could it be like the french one but red?

We will also need one like this, for our king, red too, withouth the "fleurs-de-lis".

It's great!. Thank you a lot. However, to make the shield even more representative of the Kingdom of Valencia (the shield of the 4 red bars is used by Catalunya and Aragón too, the whole Crown), we could add the castle and the waves here, quarterly.


Another command...could you make a coat of arms for our parliament?
